Engage Panama is located in the largest city and capital of Panama, Panama City. Engage Missionary Site Directors Gerritt and Tara Kenyon are reaching the emerging youth culture by sharing the gospel in public high schools through ethics and character presentations. There is a thirst among the youth for fulfillment in their lives that cannot be met by the booming commerce so rapidly changing the face and economy of this small nation. Through high school assemblies and presentations, they offer Jesus as the only one who can quench their thirst.
Engage students will be joining the Kenyon’s in ministering and sharing with the youth of Panama City in different ministries like after school programs, school assemblies and large youth conferences.
Engage Students Spend 15-25 Hours Weekly in Service through:
El Refuge Urban Ministry Center – a youth center where Panamanian students can retreat to feel safe, valued, and heard. Engage students build relationships with and speak life into these students.
ILUMINA – a girl’s only conference that equips and empowers thousands of teenage girls from across Panama.
High School Programs – lead Christ-centered character and ethics presentations in public and private schools across Panama City.
