Engage Nicaragua
Engage Nicaragua is driven by a passion for the people of Nicaragua, to serve them and help them believe that God has a purpose for their life. Nicaragua is the second poorest country in the Western Hemisphere.
The main ministry here can be called “compassion evangelism,” centered on the belief that God cares not only for the spiritual but also the physical needs of those around us. Currently, Engage Nicaragua students and
missionaries help provide food for over 18,000 children each week in various feeding centers. Engage students have the opportunity to work alongside local churches in Nicaragua, help with evangelism teams from
the U.S., camps, feeding programs, youth outreaches, and a children’s center located just outside the city dump. Students also have the incredible opportunity to be immersed in the Spanish language and discover the beauty of the Nicaraguan culture.
